The Square Kitchen is a Pop Up Restaurant based at Bordar House Teas in Masham, run by two food-loving friends who love to source, prepare and present, great home cooked food!
We both grew up on farms in the Yorkshire Dales and we have a shared passion for making tasty, high quality, home cooked food using seasonal and local produce.
We wanted to bring a new dining experience to Masham, something to add to all the other great eateries in and around the local area. We also love entertaining and have very high standards when it comes to customer service, so we’ll go the extra mile to make sure our customers enjoy all the aspects of our pop-up restaurant – it’s not just about the great food!
As well as the pop-ups, The Square Kitchen is available for private functions (we can seat around 36 people) so please do consider us if you’re looking for a venue for a party or special celebration.
Finally, we aren’t chefs, just two friends who love to cook!

If you’d like to host an event at your home but aren’t keen on all the hassle that comes with it, then let us come and do it for you. Not only will we lovingly source, prepare and cook you a terrific meal but we’ll also wait on you and your guests with food and drinks throughout the evening and then, we’ll clear everything away. Hassle-free entertaining!
